Carmen Rossiter

Risk Management

Carmen is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and a certified director (ICD.D) from the University of Toronto Rotman Director Education Program.

Carmen has served as Program Director for the Masters Certificate in Enterprise Risk Management and Governance. She was also previously lecturer for the risk management session for the Institute of Corporate Directors ICD.D program at the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto (2016-2018).

Carmen is a corporate director currently serving on the board of directors of: Niagara Health System, Ontario Medical Association and the Niagara Symphony Orchestra. Carmen is also a member of the Senior Advisory Panel to the Auditor General of Ontario. She has previous board experience with the following organizations: Deposit Insurance Corporation of Ontario, North York General Hospital and Government of Canada Departmental Audit Committee for Statistics Canada, National Defence, and Citizenship & Immigration.

Prior to her service on boards, Carmen was a Partner with PwC (Global Risk Management Solutions) and founding Managing Director for Protiviti Canada. Her experience also includes Managing Director, Education at the Global Risk Institute in addition to controllership and planning positions with Crown Life Insurance, Royal Trust (now RBC Financial) and CIBC.
