Frank Martens

Frank Martens is committed to helping boards and management enhance their enterprise risk management capabilities. He has assisted clients across geographies and industries to enhance their risk management practices. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant with over thirty years of experience. In addition, Frank is an active member of the Conference Board of Canada’s Strategic Risk Council.

In his role as Global Risk Framework and Methodology Leader at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Frank had a key role in the development of several COSO publications on risk and control.
Amongst those is the 2017 Enterprise Risk Management Integration with Strategy and Performance.

His clients have included large and small public and private companies, public sector entities, and not-for-profit organizations at all stages of evolution – from early stage of development through well-established, mature operations. He has worked with boards seeking to improve the governance aspects of enterprise risk management, including board reporting.

Beyond his professional role, he continues to support his alma matter (UBC). Frank was invited to attend the Fall 2019 Graduation Ceremony as the Alumni representative to Faculty of Commerce grads. He also volunteered for several years as a panel judge of the Sauder International Business Case competition.
