Diana Williams is the CEO and Co-founder of Kinetic Energy Entertainment, a multi-platform venture studio that develops and produces culturally impactful and accessible content across all media. With a diverse portfolio, Kinetic’s slate includes projects such as a K-Pop TV series in development at HBO, the political simulation videogame Political Arena, and a documentary feature film with Apple+.

Diana’s expertise spans IP development and business building, with a focus on the inclusion of all voices and talent in the evolving entertainment landscape. Prior to founding Kinetic, she was the Creative Development and Franchise Producer for Star Wars at Lucasfilm, where she worked on Star Wars Rebels, Rogue One, and groundbreaking VR/AR projects at ILMxLAB.

A seasoned producer, Diana earned an Independent Spirit Award nomination for her feature film Our Song and other credits include notable documentaries such as Room 237, Dear Mom Love Cher and the Emmy Award-winning Sylvia Drew Ivie. She is also deeply involved in the advancement of digital and immersive storytelling, serving on the boards and advisory committees of organizations such as The National Academy of Sciences’ Science and Entertainment Exchange, the Royal Shakespeare Company, and the Peabody Interactive Board of Jurors. Additionally, Diana is a member of the Directors Guild of America and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

Solange Attwood is the CEO & Co-Founder of the independent and Canadian-headquartered content studio, Serial Maven Studios. Attwood is a highly regarded media executive with a track record of building global content businesses that deliver meaningful earnings growth. Supported by her deep relationships with premium buyers and producers around the world with a keen commercial and creative sensibility evidenced by her success as an international distributor, producer and content development executive.

Previously, Solange was EVP, International and on the corporate team at Blue Ant Media from 2014- 2023, where she launched and then grew Blue Ant Media’s worldwide distribution arm into a global business. She spearheaded all aspects of the business including the overall strategic direction, financial management, and co-productions, pre-sales and worldwide sales activities while leading the business’ ongoing expansion and sales offices in Toronto (Canada), London (UK), Singapore, Australia (Asia-Pacific), New York (USA) and Los Angeles (USA). Under her leadership, the division built a slate of 4,500 hours of award-winning content.

An active industry advocate, Attwood is on the Board of Directors of The Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television, serving as Vice-Chair. Additionally, she has participated as a juror in industry awards events including Realscreen Content Awards and the TBI Content Innovation Awards. Attwood has also sat on Realscreen Summit’s Advisory Board and contributed to Banff World Media Festival’s Diversity of Voices program. Over the last decade, she has been a featured speaker on dozens of industry panels at Realscreen, MIPCOM, Content London, Wildscreen and Banff World Media Festival.

Prior to Blue Ant Media, she served as VP of international sales and development at Si Entertainment, where she headed up the development and launch of the company’s distribution arm and spent four years at Tricon Films & Television working across development, production and distribution.

Mark Peco, CBIP, is an accomplished Data Analytics Consultant and Educator with over 30 years of experience in data analytics, data science, and data management. He has a strong background in developing and implementing data strategies for organizations across various industries, including energy, utilities, and financial services. Mark specializes in teaching analytics concepts in an accessible and engaging way, using real-world examples and hands-on exercises. His expertise spans machine learning, data warehousing, business intelligence, and performance management, making him a valuable resource for students seeking to understand the practical applications of data analytics in today’s business environment.

As an instructor at York University, Mark has designed and delivered courses that bridge the gap between theory and practice. His teaching approach emphasizes the development of practical skills, empowering students to apply their learning in real-world scenarios. Students in his courses benefit from his extensive knowledge, industry insights, and passion for education.

Mark holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in engineering from the University of Waterloo and is a Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP) at the mastery level.

Jose Ribau

Jose is a senior executive with depth in data strategy, digital technology and marketing that spans numerous sectors including retail, commercial real estate, and financial services. As a founder and sponsor of both startups and technology venture funds, he has leveraged his enterprise experience to help companies transition through different stages of growth.

In 2022, Jose established R5 Innovations – a consulting and advisory firm that focuses on digital transformation and helps companies implement AI capabilities. Before starting his own business, Jose served as EVP Digital & Innovation at Cadillac Fairview, a $30B commercial real estate firm. In this role, he built a new innovation practice, and led Technology, Marketing, Brand and Communications.

Leveraging his experience in financial services, Jose led the creation of award-winning experiences by modernizing marketing technology and creating integrated customer journeys. Prior to Cadillac Fairview, Jose spent 18 years at CIBC where he launched Canada’s first Visa debit product, and pioneered the use of segmentation analytics in driving sales and marketing campaigns. As CIBC’s Chief Data Officer he was responsible for governance of retail customer information and analytics, and led the development of the bank’s first enterprise data and AI program.

He holds an Honours B.Sc. degree from Wilfrid Laurier University, an M.Sc. from McMaster University, and an MBA from Queen’s University.
