During the pandemic, much changed in the way we think of equity and how different communities have been affected by the virus’s social and economic impact.
By focusing on the resources, leadership tools and frameworks you need to lead a successful recovery, the return to a new normal can be more inclusive and sustainable.
To prepare leaders for the return to work, Schulich ExecEd will hold a series of five morning sessions, titled Building Back Better: A Leadership Bootcamp for a Sustainable Recovery beginning Aug. 23, aimed at ensuring you are prepared to help your people navigate the changed environment they are heading into.
Return to work will increase direct contact and engagement, which will heighten the frequency and intensity of the difficult conversations and collaborations that will happen as the result of heightened awareness of systemic bias. Business as usual is not an option.
The approach you take as a leader is critical to the recovery and its sustainability. How will you cultivate bias consciousness and an equitable and inclusive culture to drive productivity.
In this video, Michel Shah talks about her session where she will share key insights, challenges and opportunities that leaders face with unconscious bias in a post-Covid world.
