Celebrating Pride Month at Schulich ExecEd
Posted on June 01, 2024Another year of celebrating Pride Month at Schulich ExecEd has arrived!
June signifies a month to honour the diverse community here at Schulich ExecEd, from the incredible faculty members, to our brilliant participants, to our amazing partners. Celebrating the LGBTQ2IA2S+ community doesn’t stop with Pride Month. Schulich ExecEd believes that true inclusion goes beyond viewing diversity as a separate topic to tackle. It is ingrained in everything we do.
At Schulich ExecEd, we believe in empowering the next generation of leaders to foster inclusive workplace environments while aligning with their business goals of productivity and commercial success. In our pursuit of inclusivity, we advocate for policies that uphold human rights and dignity, such as health benefits that encompass the specific needs of gender transformative care. It’s not just about meeting quotas; it’s about sending a resounding message of acceptance and respect to every member of our community.
“At Schulich ExecEd, we recognize that our strength lies in our diversity, and Pride Month serves as a poignant reminder of the importance of fostering inclusivity and acceptance within our community and beyond,” shares Rami Mayer, Executive Director of Schulich ExecEd. “Celebrating Pride Month isn’t just about acknowledging progress; it’s about reaffirming our commitment to a future where every individual is celebrated, respected, and empowered to thrive authentically in every facet of their lives.”
As we celebrate Pride Month, let us remember that diversity is not just a buzzword—it’s our strength. Let us continue to strive for a world where everyone can live and work authentically, without fear of discrimination or prejudice. Together, let’s build a future where love, acceptance, and understanding are a natural part of everyday life and work.
Happy Pride Month from Schulich ExecEd!
