Who knew an accounting class could be this much fun?
Posted on January 16, 2018One of Schulich ExecEd’s most popular programs every year is What the Non-Financial Manager Needs to Know About Financial & Managerial Accounting, which just finished its Fall session last month. Facilitator Beppino Pasquali is a perennial favourite of our participants for both the practical content he delivers and the engaging style in which he does it.
“Beppino was a great facilitator!” said one participant. “He teaches with a lot of real examples and is repetitive in his teachings, which I found extremely helpful in learning. I have learned lots of take-aways that will definitely benefit me in my position at work. Thank you, it was awesome.”
Pasquali’s program is popular for the way it demystifies accounting for those unfamiliar with the basic terms and practices that manage the financial health of all organizations. “This program has literally changed my view (and perception) of what finance and accounting entails. It was a very interesting and revealing experience,” said another participant.
But in every session, without fail, participants also remark on his “engaging, interesting [and] interactive” teaching style in delivering “practical examples and engaging references” that make the content memorable and applicable to individual work situations.
“I was looking for a program to help build my financial acumen in order to grow my career,” said one happy participant. “This program provided me with an understanding of terms and the foundation I was looking for.”
What the Non-Financial Manager Needs to Know about Financial & Managerial Accounting is run several times a year to capacity cohorts. For information on the next class in May, visit the program website pages.
