Leading Digital Transformation

Schulich ExecEd has partnered with the American Marketing Association to offer a special educational experience for senior marketing professionals.

Starting Jan. 10, this is a unique opportunity to get a stronger foothold in the marketing industry.

The 21st century is an ever-shifting landscape of emerging technologies, new paradigms, fluctuating demographics and big data. The digital realm has created a turbulent world where information and data increase at an exponential rate, demanding greater analytic and processing skills.

What is the result? Many organizations have stumbled on the road to digital skill and proficiency. They recognize that the way to get on their feet is to hire the right people — people who understand digital transformation and have the required analytical skills and strategic thinking abilities. They need people who can help lead the change necessary so organizations can thrive.

In response to this growing need for leaders in digital change, the American Marketing Association has created a program in partnership with Schulich ExecEd called Leading Digital Transformation. It was developed through consultation with leading employers and digital forerunners such as Google, Microsoft, Accenture, CIBC and faculty from the Schulich School of Business at York University.

Leading Digital Transformation will help senior marketing professionals gain the insight and hone the skills needed in this data-driven world of accelerating technologies. The program will cover areas such as strategic foresight, agile thinking, leading transformation and managing a workforce in these turbulent times. In addition to in-classroom discussions, the program will also include fireside chats by industry leaders who have demonstrated success in digital transformation.
