Schulich ExecEd program wins International Recognition at E-Learning Awards

The Schulich ExecEd has won international recognition this month from the International E-Learning Association for its online program Guided Self-Coaching for New Supervisors and Managers.

The program received an honourable mention in the Academic Division’s E-Learning category in a ceremony held online Sept. 12. The International E-Learning Awards recognize the best uses of technology to improve learning and job performance within companies or through individual professional development.

Submissions are evaluated by the IELA Awards Committee, who look for a variety of attributes, including educational soundness and effectiveness, usability and overall significance. Other schools receiving mention in the category were based in Austria, India, Malta and Spain.

Guided Self-Coaching for New Supervisors and Managers is an online program designed to give new supervisors and managers a quick and effective way to embrace opportunity by overcoming personal challenges and maximizing their professional potential. In six modules, taken over six weeks, this e+ Online Program involves using a participant’s life experience to help them find out things about themself on their own, through techniques of self-awareness and reflection.

The program qualifies for continuing education credits from the Project Management Institute (14 PDUs) and the HRPA (21 CPD hours). New sessions start Jan. 29, May 7 and Sept. 10. For more information, visit the program web page.
