Program Overview

  • Start the program by diving into the essentials of progressing in organizations, developing a “different, progressive” mindset, and setting goals and managing time. Explore the need-to-know information for transitioning from doing to being responsible for results and the challenges of progressing in a workplace. Then, identify opportunities to add value and plan effectively in teams.

  • Explore the key points of a supervisor as a leader, learn how to work with and through others, and gain motivational techniques. This module answers key questions like what leadership and leadership styles mean before delving into opportunity creation and building and defining teams. Finish off the module with motivation topics like motivating without money.

  • Establish clear and measurable goals that align with your organization’s vision and mission. Utilize performance management tools to monitor progress and ensure accountability. Apply coaching techniques to foster growth, enhance skills, and achieve impactful results.

  • Gain insight into the make-up of the multigenerational workforce and how to manage conflict amongst different generations. Reach agreements as a team with the six steps of efficient problem-solving. Finish off the module by learning tools to speed along successful implementation.

  • End the program by reviewing management ethics, resolving disagreements, and learning how to provide constructive performance feedback. Familiarize yourself with the basic ethics of a workplace and a manager’s responsibility and accountability.

     

    Set yourself up for success with steps for dealing with touch, real-world work situations and tips for starting discussions, keeping on target and reaching a successful outcome.
