Angelo Suntres

Angelo Suntres is a construction executive with over 20 years of experience encompassing operations, estimating, and both contractor- and owner-side project management. He currently serves as Director of Operations at Mattina Mechanical Limited, a Hamilton-based mechanical contracting firm. His diverse experience of planning and bidding work, executing it in the field, and overseeing it from the owner’s chair gives Angelo a firsthand understanding of how projects are scoped, scheduled, resourced, and ultimately delivered from all sides of the contract.

Angelo holds a Bachelor of Engineering Science (Mechanical) from the University of Western Ontario, and is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.), certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Gold Seal Certified (GSC) in Project Management. He is the two-time published author of The Human Side of Construction (a #1 Amazon Bestseller) and Rebuild Construction, and hosts The Human Side of Construction podcast, a platform reaching over 200,000 followers focused on leadership and culture in the construction industry.
