The Institute of Public Administration of Canada (IPAC) and Schulich ExecEd at the Schulich School of Business, York University, are pleased to continue their partnership with the launch of a new cohort of Integrity First: Values and Ethics for a Modern Public Service, a professional development program designed specifically for Canada’s public sector.
Since establishing their partnership in 2024, IPAC and Schulich ExecEd have worked together to strengthen leadership capacity and promote professional excellence across government. Through practical, high-impact learning experiences, they continue to equip public servants with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate evolving challenges, uphold public trust, and serve Canadians with integrity.
The Integrity First: Values and Ethics for a Modern Public Service program will be delivered virtually on November 24, 2026. Designed for public sector professionals at all levels, the program helps participants deepen their understanding of public sector values and ethics, strengthen ethical decision-making skills, and navigate increasingly complex workplace challenges while maintaining public trust.
Participants will explore three key areas:
The program examines topics such as public trust, political neutrality, accountability, fairness, whistleblower protections, and practical approaches to resolving ethical dilemmas in the workplace.
Upon successful completion of the program, participants will receive a joint digital credential from IPAC and Schulich ExecEd, recognizing their commitment to ethical leadership and professional excellence in public service.
As their partnership continues to grow, IPAC and Schulich ExecEd remain dedicated to equipping public sector professionals with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to lead effectively, uphold the highest ethical standards, and serve Canadians with integrity.
