    • Understand the origins and core principles of Lean, including the 3M framework (Muda, Mura, Muri).
    • Apply Lean techniques such as Value Stream Mapping (VSM), 5S, Poka-Yoke, Kanban, and Kaizen to streamline processes.
    • Explore strategic planning methodologies like Hoshin Kanri and Daily Management System (DMS) to align organizational goals.
    • Learn how workplace culture, teamwork, and engagement drive sustainable Lean transformations.
    • Master Six Sigma fundamentals, including DMAIC, DFSS, and DCDV frameworks.
    • Develop skills in defining and measuring project scope, capturing the Voice of the Customer (VoX), and establishing key performance metrics.

At the end of the module, participants will have built a solid foundation in Lean and Six Sigma to lead process improvements and enhance operational performance, reinforced by an open-book exam designed to strengthen their understanding and application of key concepts. A minimum score of 80% is required to successfully complete the module.

  • This module equips participants with advanced tools and methodologies to drive high-impact process improvements, ensure strategic alignment, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Key Learning Outcomes:

    • Develop skills to plan, scope, and manage complex improvement projects while effectively engaging stakeholders, aligning priorities, and ensuring accountability throughout the improvement lifecycle
    • Build the capability to lead teams through organizational transitions, manage resistance, and implement structured strategies that foster adoption and cultural transformation
    • Gain a working understanding of core statistical concepts that underpin Six Sigma methodology, establishing the quantitative foundation needed for data-driven decision-making
    • Apply techniques to validate data integrity and accurately assess process performance through key capability and measurement metrics
    • Conduct hypothesis testing to identify statistically significant process variables, distinguish between common and special cause variation, and draw evidence-based conclusions
    • Execute a range of parametric tests and apply appropriate methods for analyzing non-normal data, ensuring statistical rigor across diverse real-world datasets
    • Identify and evaluate potential solutions, apply Design of Experiments (DOE) to optimize process variables, and advance through structured pilot testing to full-scale implementation
    • Utilize control charts and statistical tools to monitor process stability, detect variation early, and sustain improvement gains over time
    • Standardize improved processes, document controls, and embed new ways of working into the organization to ensure long-term sustainability and continuous improvement

By the end of this module, participants will have the expertise to lead complex improvement projects, leverage data-driven insights, and drive transformational change, reinforced by an open-book exam designed to strengthen their mastery and application of Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
