He studies the politics and economics of dentistry, and his research can be found in the world’s leading dental and health care policy journals. He regularly acts as a consultant to governmental and non-governmental agencies, and is internationally recognized as a leading figure in oral health care policy.

Innovation and Entrepreneurship

Catherine Dine is an award-winning researcher and strategist with a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing), Bachelor of Arts (English), a CMRP (Certified Market Research Professional) and Moderator Training from the Riva Training Institute in Maryland. Catherine’s research expertise has developed over more than 20 years in the industry including progressively senior corporate and research agency roles. Catherine works with select clients in a highly collaborative, integrated and impactful fashion. Categories range from financial services and capital markets, through entertainment and technology, to consumer-packaged goods and pharmaceuticals. Catherine is a co-chair of the Canadian Chapter of QRCA (Qualitative Research Consultants Association), a conference speaker and regular attendee at a range of industry events worldwide, and a life-long learner in the fields of psychology, anthropology, behavioural science, mental health, creativity and client experience through study and application. Catherine is an instructor for the Design Thinking program at the Schulich ExecEd of York University – teaching about the Empathy and Discovery phases of the Design Thinking approach to Innovation.

General Management, Strategic Planning

Charles Cho is a professor of accounting and Erivan K. Haub Chair in Business & Sustainability at the Schulich School of Business, York University. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, a Master of Science in Accounting, and a PhD in Business Administration (Accounting Track) from the University of Central Florida. He also worked for KPMG LLP and other public accounting firms for several years in auditing and taxation. His research interests include social and environmental accounting; corporate social responsibility (CSR); and accounting and the public Interest. Charles currently serves as director of the Centre of Excellence in Responsible Business (COERB) at the Schulich School of Business.

Project Management

Dr. Charles Igwe is a seasoned program management leader with over 15 years of experience delivering high-stakes projects in the energy, construction, and public sectors. As Program Manager at Canadian Nuclear Laboratories, he leads transformative hydrogen and tritium initiatives aligned with Canada’s clean energy goals. Previously, as Section Head of Decommissioning Planning, he managed regulatory strategies and stakeholder engagement across national nuclear sites. A faculty member at Algonquin, Conestoga, and St. Lawrence Colleges, Dr. Igwe teaches project management with a focus on practical application, drawing on his extensive industry experience. He holds a PhD in Construction Project Management, an Executive MBA, and certifications including PMP®, PMI-RMP®, PMI-ACP®, MSP® Practitioner, PRINCE2®, and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. As Vice President of Professional Development at the PMI Ottawa Valley Chapter, he champions mentoring and professional growth. Specializing in strategic planning, risk leadership, and AI-enabled project delivery, Dr. Igwe inspires students to navigate complexity with confidence—making him an invaluable asset to the Masters Certificate in Project Management.

Charmaine has a passion for helping others bring joy and fun back into their work and lives. She aims to create a positive ripple of change in others to help improve their personal and business success.Having a career both as an entrepreneur and as an executive working for prominent global organizations, Charmaine brings a business mindset with a real-life, hands-on approach. Her guidelines for coaching, facilitation and consulting are firm yet flexible, challenging yet respectful; to dream big then get practical to get to results in a fun, engaging way. Charmaine was the Development Leader for an award-winning “Best Global Executive Development Program.” She designed, developed and was a Facilitator for this 18-month strategic talent management leadership experience to grow top talent for future roles. Charmaine has experience as a Professor of Business & Entrepreneurship and as a Faculty member for a global leadership program where she lived in South Africa. Currently, Charmaine owns and leads a global leadership assessment, coaching & development consultancy. As an ICF Credentialed Coach, she coaches leaders globally at all stages of their careers, whether they are preparing to transition, are in transition, or are expanding their leadership presence in their current or future roles. As an Assessment Practitioner, she brings an evidence-based approach using assessments, talent analytics and her deep expertise in leadership, resilience, emotional intelligence, and team performance. In her creative approach to facilitating, Chloé finds delight in giving people the tools and courage to see things through a different lens, leading to innovative solutions and behaviours. Since her career in Adult Education began in 2011, she’s reached thousands of employees in new leadership positions through programs she has designed for some of North America’s top tech and telecom companies. Chloé has shared ideas and facilitated stimulating conversations with groups from retail, local government, long-term care and more, spanning topics from leadership fundamentals, emotional awareness, negotiation and photography. One of the highlights of her career so far is having the privilege of working closely with Michael Bungay Stanier, author of The Coaching Habit, a Wall Street Journal best-selling book on coaching. Currently studying Adult Learning at George Brown College, she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from York University. Chloé feeds her sense of curiosity and adventure by exploring with her dog, canoe camping and hiking, all while stopping every second to take a photograph.

Chris Bosch, MA, MWS, CFRE, has over 25 years of experience in the nonprofit sector and has spent most of his career learning, teaching, and facilitating in the areas of strategy development, conflict resolution, leadership development, and problem-solving using design thinking principles. He has been a senior leader with World Vision Canada, taught at four different universities, started a nonprofit organization called Flourish Financial to support the capital needs of small and growing businesses in poorer contexts and led many planning sessions with organizations like the Humanitarian Coalition, Canadian Mental Health Association, Canadian Feed the Children, Ontario Association of Children’s Aid Societies, Toronto District School Board and many other social service organizations. Chris has certifications as a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE), Professional Director (board governance), Balanced Scorecard specialist (strategic planning methodology), and graduate degrees in International Development and Political Theory. He lives in Oakville with his wife, Lydia, who is a teacher, and they are parents to two adult children, Josiah and Levi.

Kitty (Christina) Spiropoulos has had a distinguished career in production finance for over two decades, working on dozens of film and television productions filmed in Canada as the Key Production Accountant.  She currently works as Production Finance Manager for Netflix and is instrumental in creating, implementing, and overseeing all production finance matters for Canada-based productions.  Kitty holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Managements & Human Resources from Saint Mary’s University. She is an active member of the Directors’ Guild of Canada (DGC) Ontario Caucus and has been enthusiastically involved in designing and teaching training courses for new DGC accounting members. 

Business Analysis, Project Management

Christine Beaulieu is an experienced information technology executive with more than 20 years of expertise in the management of large IT departments and in the implementation and management of information systems. Her career has been largely focused on project management and communication for large companies in Québec. As a vice-president of information technology she had been responsible for several major projects. Known for her management skills, she is particularly adept at using a managerial approach that rallies teams around projects of different size and scope. Here at the Schulich School of Business, York University, she is known by participants as an educator that specializes in human aspects and communication.

Cindy Mark has worked in the dental industry for the last three decades. Her expertise lies in assessing practice opportunities and providing customized solutions that she is able to communicate to both dentists and team members in a way that transforms clients’ practices.  Cindy will help you and your team achieve victories with results that provide less stress due to the improved systems that she implements. She is an effective communicator who always provides a customized game plan to ensure your practice grows. 

Ms. Mueller is a talent strategist who helps leaders, organizations, and students prepare for the mining industry of the future. She has spent the last ten years researching the talent, skill and organizational challenges in the metals and minerals industry and regularly shares her insights as a speaker, panellist, facilitator, and instructor. Ms. Mueller formerly served as Program Director of the Global Metals and Minerals Management MBA program at the Schulich School of Business, York University. She also serves as the Program Director of the Mining Academy at Schulich ExecEd. In this capacity, Ms. Mueller is involved in the development, management, and delivery of custom programs for clients in the metals and minerals sector. Her vision is to create personalized, exciting learning journeys for leaders by offering diverse education opportunities. Ms. Mueller holds a Business Law degree (Germany) and a Master of International Business (Australia) and is a PhD Student at the Robert M. Buchan Department of Mining at Queen’s University (Canada).  She has worked around the globe in areas such as Human Resources, Business Development, Capacity Building, Teaching and Research.

Connie is an award-winning serial entrepreneur, brand strategist, and media expert who has been featured in major media outlets such as Forbes and has spoken on prominent stages including Google, YouTube, Web Summit, and Collision Conference. As the CEO of How To Cake It, Connie built the company from concept to a multi-million-dollar media brand with a global community exceeding 15 million. As a TV producer, Connie has created and produced shows for networks and streaming platforms including Food Network, HGTV, and Roku. She has also held roles at 20th Century Fox Films and Entertainment One. Her brand work includes collaborations with clients such as Disney, Google, Amazon, Walmart, Hello Sunshine, Four Seasons Hotels, and Atlantis Resorts. A Canadian who has worked internationally, Connie is passionate about bringing global opportunities to women in business and media in Canada. She most recently launched the first Canadian chapter of The Media Dinner Club.

Cy Charney is one of the Schulich School of Business, York University’s top instructors. As a leading Canadian thought leader in the area of organizational performance, Cy has developed a variety of unique interventions to help organizations in both the private and public sector become leaders in their field. He delivers a practical approach with enthusiasm, energy and a sense of humor. He is also a seasoned trainer who customizes a variety of programs always with the intention of adding value to internal and external customers. He is an acknowledged leader in the area of self-directed learning having created a unique system of team learning called Peer Mentoring™ which is used by organizations around the world. When not at Schulich ExecEd, Cy is hard at work working with a number of clients including multiple Fortune 500 companies and government departments around the world.

Strategic Planning

Dan has provided his expertise on more than 500 business and organizational projects both locally and internationally, including in Canada, USA, The Netherlands, France, and Italy. He has also delivered over 50 conference presentations. Whether facilitating a training workshop, a new product ideation, a strategic planning session, or just a plain old meeting, Dan brings his positive energy and focus to the task. He is known for delivering high content sessions in a relaxed and entertaining style. Underlying Dan's passion for deliberate thinking is a deep commitment to helping people learn and achieve useful outcomes. In addition to his consulting and training, Dan is a past trustee of the Creative Education Foundation and is on the faculty of the Creative Problem-Solving Institute and Schulich ExecEd. He is also a certified practitioner of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), the Facet5 Personality Profile, the FourSight Thinking Profile, and NeuroColor, a unique, neuroscience approach to personality assessment.

Daniel Warner is a serial entrepreneur, startup advisor and consultant with more than fifteen years of experience launching and scaling new ventures, including SnapSaves, which was acquired by Groupon in 2014. Daniel's passion for health innovation followed a Crohn's Disease diagnosis in 2015, at which point he decided to focus his energy on improving health care. As an active member in the digital health community, Daniel is on the Premier’s Digital Health and Innovation Council and was a member of former-Health Minister Hoskin’s Digital Health Leadership Group. Daniel is an advisor on the #Tech4SickKids initiative, Sinai Health System’s IBD Cabinet and is the alumni chair for the Schulich School of Business’ Startup Program, where he graduated with an MBA in 2012.
