Rob Quail holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Toronto. Rob is a widely respected author, facilitator and lecturer on Enterprise Risk Management. He has participated as a lecturer in the program since 2011. Rob established the pioneering Enterprise Risk Management processes, tools and methodologies at Hydro One Networks Inc. that are today widely regarded as best-practice. The practices developed by Rob in collaboration with the management team at Hydro One became the subject of many studies and papers, including a major “leading practice” case study by Harvard Business School. While at Hydro One, Rob also held key leadership roles in the areas of technology transformation and outsourcing. Later, Rob was appointed Vice President of Customer Service at Hydro One in the wake of a difficult billing system implementation, and during this time he applied Enterprise Risk Management principles to lead dramatic improvements in all areas of customer service, including call centre operations, billing, electricity conservation, and collections. Today, Rob provides independent consulting services in enterprise risk management, business process and technology outsourcing, and customer care to clients in a variety of industry sectors. Rob is a contributing author to both of the Wiley textbooks used in the program: Enterprise Risk Management: Today’s Leading Research and Best Practices for Tomorrow’s Executives,” and “Implementing Enterprise Risk Management.”

Ron Babin, DBA, is a professor of Technology Management and Innovation, and an award-winning instructor with many decades of IT professional experience. As a management consulting partner at KPMG and Accenture, he has provided strategic guidance to CIO clients across all industries.

Rosa Na is the Assistant Director, Custom Programs at Schulich Executive Education (Schulich ExecEd). She leads excellence in service quality, learner experience, and end-to-end project delivery across a dynamic portfolio of custom learning and development programs for industry professionals.

Rozita Moazemi is a seasoned management consultant with over 14 years of experience leading change management, talent strategy, and large-scale organizational transformations across industries. She is the Managing Director of K&K Advisors and an Adjunct Professor at the Schulich School of Business. Rozita holds an MBA from Schulich, a Master’s in Organizational Psychology from King’s College London, and a BSc in Psychology from the University of Toronto. Her background includes senior roles at Deloitte and CBRE, and she is the founder of The Giving Hand, a not-for-profit supporting children in need.

Ryan Heimpel is a Production Accountant, Executive Producer, and educator with more than 25 years of experience helping bring film and television productions to life. Throughout his career, Ryan has worked on productions ranging from studio features such as 16 Blocks and Repo Men to acclaimed television series including Suits and The Umbrella Academy. Most recently, he has turned his focus to independent feature films with Launch North. A graduate of York University and OISE's Master of Teaching program, Ryan combines current industry practice with a passion for education and mentorship. His experience spans the full production lifecycle, including budgeting, payroll, cost reporting, production financing, tax credits, cash flow management, and financial leadership from prep through delivery. Beyond production, Ryan has been an active contributor to professional development within the Directors Guild of Canada. He helped develop and teach the Guild's Production Payroll course, served on the intake review panel for prospective Production Accounting members, and mentored emerging accountants as they advanced through the profession. Ryan believes the best Production Accountants don't simply keep the books. They help productions make better decisions before problems arise. Through practical case studies, current industry examples, and collaborative problem-solving, he equips students with the confidence, judgment, and technical skills to thrive in today's production offices. Students deserve more than theory; they deserve to understand how productions actually work. Outside of work, Ryan enjoys adventures with his family, skiing in the winter, getting out on the water during the summer, coaching youth sports, making music, and taking on creative projects that bring together education, entrepreneurship, and film production.

As Regional Head, Executive Search and DEI Lead at KBRS based in Toronto, Ontario, Ryna plays a key leadership role in driving the firm’s expertise in executive search, coaching, and DEI strategy. Sandra Adom is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, professor, and research professional with over 15 years of experience in acute care, sub-acute care, clinical research, and the pharmaceutical industry. Her passion for nursing was shaped by her own experiences as a child frequently in need of medical care. With extensive experience in medical affairs, cross-functional partnerships, and project management, Sandra’s mission is to bridge the gap between medical research, clinical development, and patient outcomes on a global scale. 

Project Management

Sandra Martyn is president of The Martyn Group, a private consulting and training company specializing in project management. Managing her own successful project management business for almost 28 years has provided her with a unique perspective on the challenges experienced in almost all industries, including projects in manufacturing, construction, government, food, health, automotive, financial, transportation, pharmaceutical and biotech, among others. She has a reputation for planning and executing projects and building strong, cohesive teams. Sandra consistently receives the highest ratings from her clients for the value she provides in her courses. Sandra adheres to the framework set out by the Project Management Institute, but her own business experience enables her to make difficult project management concepts seem easy as she delivers her training in clear and understandable terms. She helps program participants avoid common project management mistakes. Her teaching aids and exercises are popular, and the group work sessions are critically important in applying concepts to real life projects. Sandra has developed and authored programs in project management fundamentals, PMP® exam preparation, implementing/operating a project management office, juggling multiple projects, and using Microsoft Project software. She has delivered programs to clients across Canada, as well as numerous management and project team members from other countries, including: China, Malaysia, Greece, India and the Philippines, among others. Known for his engaging and highly practical approach, Sanjay combines real-world leadership and consulting experience with academic rigour and evidence-based management principles. Using case studies, proven frameworks, and hands-on learning, he translates complex concepts into practical tools that leaders can immediately apply within their organizations. With more than 20 years of experience as a global commercial leader, educator, and strategic advisor, Sanjay has worked with organizations across a wide range of sectors and industries. His work focuses on helping leaders develop effective strategies, align their teams with organizational priorities, navigate change, and deliver transformative results. Sanjay is the creator of The Business Workout, a practical and highly regarded approach that helps leaders accelerate growth and improve team effectiveness. He is also the author of Toolbox for Performance-Driven Leaders, which complements his executive education programs, leadership workshops, and keynote presentations. A committed community and governance leader, Sanjay is a recipient of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Award. Sapna Sriram is a leading Canadian chiropractor and registered acupuncturist with a focus on sports injuries, pre- and post-natal care, and chronic pain. She is also the award-winning co-founder and CEO of Integra Health Centre, Toronto’s largest and most reputable, collaborative full-service medical and health clinics. Sapna is a mentor and educator; having been a clinical and business mentor to clinic owners and clinicians across Canada. As a media personality, Sapna is Canada’s go-to injury expert and has been featured on multiple media interviews including on CityLine, The Social, Breakfast Television, Global Morning Toronto, HuffPost, CTV Morning Live, CTV News, City TV News, CP 24, CHCH Morning Live, 680 News, Rogers Daytime, The Globe & Mail, Global News, the Toronto Star and many more. In 2018 Sapna became the first Canadian featured on the cover of CEO Mom magazine.

Dr. Sarah Bay-Cheng is Dean and Professor of Theatre & Performance Studies in the School of the Arts, Media, Performance and Design (AMPD) at York University in Toronto. Her research and writing focuses on the intersections between theatre and media including histories of film, social media, and technology in performance. She is the author or editor of 4 books, including Performance and Media: Taxonomies for a Changing Field (2015) and Mapping Intermediality in Performance (2010) as well as more than 100 academic essays, lectures and reviews. She also writes and gives talks on performance and media in popular culture, including film, social media, and sports. Prior to becoming Dean of AMPD at York, Bay-Cheng served as Chair of Theater and Dance at Bowdoin College (Maine, USA) and as the Founding Director for the Techne Institute for the Arts and Emerging Technologies at the University at Buffalo (New York, USA).

Technology

Dr. Shane Saunderson is an expert in the design and psychology of interactions with social machines. Shane also lectures on digital transformation and emerging technologies with Schulich Executive Education at York University. He has spent over a decade consulting for Fortune 500 clients on digital strategy, disruptive innovation, and technology projects. Shane has helped found several startups, has chaired numerous industry boards, is a prolific technology writer, and frequently gives talks on robotics, AI, design thinking, and the future of technology in society. He is a former Vanier scholar who holds a Ph.D. in Robotics with a specialization in psychology from the University of Toronto, an MBA in Technology and Innovation from the Ted Rogers School of Management, and a B. Eng. from McGill University.

Sherry-Ann Ram is a parent, sustainability champion, engineer, and educator, holding degrees in Mechanical Engineering (BSc), Petroleum Engineering (MSc), and Civil Engineering (PhD), along with collaborative specializations in engineering education and environmental studies. Sherry-Ann worked in the fossil fuel industry for over 13 years, engaging with diverse cultures across countries on every continent except Antarctica. After acknowledging the issues plaguing the world today, Sherry-Ann transitioned to gaining a deeper understanding of sustainability, with the intent to apply it both personally and professionally. This shift toward sustainability was reinforced by the birth of Sherry-Ann's children, an aspiration to uphold the oath of engineers in Ontario to protect people and society, and a desire for continuous stewardship, lifelong learning, reflection, and development.

Healthcare

Simone has dedicated her career to driving transformative changes in healthcare. Her unique blend of skills in strategy, project management, and policy change positions her as a driving force behind health system transformation, aiming to create a healthier future for communities and regions. Simone is a critical member of the team that developed, designed and then implemented the largest voluntary hospital merger in Canada at Trillium Health Partners (THP) – a world-leading, full system of care in Mississauga and West Toronto serving over 1.7 million patients annually. She has progressed through several critical leadership roles including THP’s first Director of Strategy & Project Management, then Associate VP of People, Strategy & Volunteers. Currently, Simone is VP at the Institute for Better Health (IBH), a national leader in health services research and THP Solutions, which will drive innovation and create new revenue streams for THP to drive sustainability in health care and lead THP as an Edge partner within the $30M Federal innovation network CAN Health Network. In her role at the IBH, she has been instrumental in bridging research and innovation ambitions with sound business strategies from HR to Finance to Project Management to build success. This culminated last year with THP’s recognition for the first time as one of Canada’s Top 40 Research hospitals. In 2022, Simone was honoured as one of Canada's 100 Most Powerful Women by The Women's Executive Network and in 2023, as a Distinguished Alumni by the Faculty of Science at the University. She also serves as a board member at Sheridan College, in the role of Vice-Chair since 2023. Simone holds a Bachelor of Science & Business from the University of Waterloo's Coop Program and an MBA from The Schulich School of Business at York University.

Solange Attwood is the CEO & Co-Founder of the independent and Canadian-headquartered content studio, Serial Maven Studios. Attwood is a highly regarded media executive with a track record of building global content businesses that deliver meaningful earnings growth. Supported by her deep relationships with premium buyers and producers around the world with a keen commercial and creative sensibility evidenced by her success as an international distributor, producer and content development executive. Previously, Solange was EVP, International and on the corporate team at Blue Ant Media from 2014- 2023, where she launched and then grew Blue Ant Media’s worldwide distribution arm into a global business. She spearheaded all aspects of the business including the overall strategic direction, financial management, and co-productions, pre-sales and worldwide sales activities while leading the business’ ongoing expansion and sales offices in Toronto (Canada), London (UK), Singapore, Australia (Asia-Pacific), New York (USA) and Los Angeles (USA). Under her leadership, the division built a slate of 4,500 hours of award-winning content. An active industry advocate, Attwood is on the Board of Directors of The Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television, serving as Vice-Chair. Additionally, she has participated as a juror in industry awards events including Realscreen Content Awards and the TBI Content Innovation Awards. Attwood has also sat on Realscreen Summit’s Advisory Board and contributed to Banff World Media Festival’s Diversity of Voices program. Over the last decade, she has been a featured speaker on dozens of industry panels at Realscreen, MIPCOM, Content London, Wildscreen and Banff World Media Festival. Prior to Blue Ant Media, she served as VP of international sales and development at Si Entertainment, where she headed up the development and launch of the company’s distribution arm and spent four years at Tricon Films & Television working across development, production and distribution.
