Sanjay Dhebar is an award-winning faculty member and facilitator at the Schulich School of Business. In addition to his teaching, he is also a managing partner at a consulting firm. As an experienced executive coach, he helps leaders strengthen their capabilities, build high-performing teams, and achieve performance excellence.

Known for his engaging and highly practical approach, Sanjay combines real-world leadership and consulting experience with academic rigour and evidence-based management principles. Using case studies, proven frameworks, and hands-on learning, he translates complex concepts into practical tools that leaders can immediately apply within their organizations.

With more than 20 years of experience as a global commercial leader, educator, and strategic advisor, Sanjay has worked with organizations across a wide range of sectors and industries. His work focuses on helping leaders develop effective strategies, align their teams with organizational priorities, navigate change, and deliver transformative results.

Sanjay is the creator of The Business Workout, a practical and highly regarded approach that helps leaders accelerate growth and improve team effectiveness. He is also the author of Toolbox for Performance-Driven Leaders, which complements his executive education programs, leadership workshops, and keynote presentations.

A committed community and governance leader, Sanjay is a recipient of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Award. He has held board leadership and director roles with Toronto Metropolitan University, the Indo-Canada Chamber of Commerce, and the Education Quality and Accountability Office, where he served as Board Chair. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Stevenson Memorial Hospital.
